Alex Jung is a dedicated acupuncturist practicing at Total Health Systems. She holds a Doctorate degree in Oriental Medicine from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine, where her passion for holistic healing and traditional Asian medicine flourished.
Since 2020, Alex has been providing expert care, specializing in pain management, infertility, and women’s health. With a focus on merging ancient acupuncture techniques with modern approaches, Alex offers personalized treatments tailored to each patient’s needs.
During her time in Maryland, Alex worked closely with chiropractors, and later in Michigan, she collaborated with physical therapists (PT) and Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), expanding the scope of care for her patients.
As an active member of the National Alliance of Korean Asian Medicine and Acupuncture of USA, Alex remains at the forefront of advancements in acupuncture and traditional medicine. She continually enhances her expertise through ongoing education and research, ensuring her patients receive top-notch care.

My name is Asia Brown and I graduated from Everest institute. I have been a licensed massage therapist for 14 years. I started because my mom has arthritis and I would work on her. She recommended that I should go to massage therapy school. Ever since I started in this field, I have really enjoyed removing tension from the muscles and pain from the body. I specialize in Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal, and aromatherapy. I love relaxing the body. I also love to see my clients walk out better then when they came in.
Samantha graduated from Aquinas College with her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2019 and went on to complete her Master’s Degree from Trine University Physician Assistant Program in 2023. During her studies, she recognized the importance of a healthy lifestyle in the prevention and treatment of many diseases, both acute and chronic. Her main interests lie in the importance of proper nutrition, active lifestyle, stress management, and sleep hygiene. She is excited to become a member of the primary care team at Total Health Systems and is eager to work with her patients to improve both their health and their quality of life!
In Sam’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is always excited for a competitive board game or video game. She also enjoys baking, cooking, hiking, reading, gardening, and hunting for sea glass on the shores of Lake Huron. She looks forward to working together with her patients to help improve their overall livelihood and make every day of their life worth living! Samantha is a Certified Functional Medicine Specialist through Functional Medicine University.
Dr. Paul Conte Graduated from Adrian College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology while playing on the D3 Ice hockey team. He joined the United States Air Force shortly after, serving as a field medic. During his time in service, Dr. Conte was a certified instructor for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Tactical Combat and Casualty Care. He participated in the Medical Combat Olympics, placing second amongst the field medical teams from around the world in the USAF. Dr. Conte developed and implemented the new emergency training program out of Offutt AFB, NE, which has been adopted USAF wide by sister education centers around the nation. After service, Dr. Conte attended Life University graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Tammy Schlaf graduated from Lynn University’s Physical Therapist Assistant program, in 1995. Tammy has provided physical therapy services in various settings. She has worked in Acute Care, In-Patient Rehab, Home Healthcare, Out Patient Pediatrics and Skilled Nursing facilities. Tammy is passionate about helping others of all ages. She is creative and seeks opportunities for professional growth, team approach to achieve best outcomes. She strives to help people achieve fitness goals and regain independence to lead an active happy life. Tammy is married and has three daughters ages 20 and twin girls 17. She enjoys spending time at the lake cottage with her family, collecting Petoskey stones and sea glass. Occasionally she will find an old piece of furniture with good bones, to make pretty again.
I have been doing massage since graduating from Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage in 2021. Helping people with chronic pain without the use of drugs is what brought me into the profession. I specialize in releasing tension in the back and decreasing pain. In my spare time I enjoy baking and spending time with my daughter.
Alyssa graduated from Macomb Community college in 2018 with an associates applied science degree in physical therapy assistant. She also has an associates of applied arts and science in massage therapy from Lakewood School of therapeutic massage in 2012. She has clinical and work experience in IPR, acute care and outpatient rehab along with 5 years of massage therapy experience at chiropractic offices. She enjoys helping others achieve their goals and functional limitations preventing them from doing the things they love. She uses manual techniques, stretching, trigger point release, along with functional exercise to return her patients back to their optimal strength of daily living. She loves helping people and aiding in helping them feel better!
Dr. Kevin Worley grew up in Monroe, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in 2016. From there he completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri, focusing on rehabilitation and working in an integrative setting. Dr. Kevin has clinical experience in the St. Louis VA system, as well as rehab-focused clinics. He is committed to educating patients on the causes of pain, the importance of a healthy lifestyle as well as treating with the best and most evidence-informed therapies available. The focus is simple: Movement is Medicine! Dr. Kevin continues to pursue education on chronic pain, non-surgical approaches to pain, and an integrative approach to the individual’s healthcare. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Kevin spends his time finding trails to hike (Mt. Rainier and The Grand Tetons being his favorites), spending time with his wife and dog at home, and staying active through playing soccer, volleyball, and kickball (3x champ).
Guodong Pan, PhD, joins Total Health Systems as a licensed Acupuncturist. He received his education in China where he held an MD and PhD. In the US, Guodong obtained his license as an Acupuncturist in the state of Michigan in 2022. He has more than ten years of clinical experience in China, and more than ten years of research experience in the United States.
Guodong graduated from Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1997, majoring in acupuncture. After graduation, he obtained the qualification of TCM practitioner, and worked in the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Shiyan People’s Hospital, Hubei, China.
As a resident, he was in charge of patients who mainly suffered with hypertension, diabetes, paralysis after a stroke, bone and joint diseases, various chronic pains, as well as other chronic diseases. He specializes in treating patients with acupuncture, cupping, massage and traditional Chinese medicine.
Guodong completed his PHD program in metabolic bone diseases at the Medical College of Georgia in the United States. Since then, he has been researching diabetes and metabolic diseases at Henry Ford Hospital in the United States.
Guodong has published more than ten academic papers and won several awards at national academic conferences. He also won a postdoctoral fellowship from the America Heart Association.
In 2022, he obtained the license of acupuncturist in Michigan, USA and became a contract acupuncturist for two clinics. Guodong loves the profession of acupuncture and looks forward to developing his practice with patients through Total Health Systems.
