Food Program - Donate TodayDonate to Local Food Pantry in Macomb County!  Donate Food to the Macomb Food Program!

Help feed the hungry now through the month of November!

Donate non-perishable canned and boxed food at Total Health Systems.  Food items high in protein are especially needed:  peanut butter, tuna fish, canned chicken, beef stew, chili, canned pasta with meat, soups with meat, canned beans or any other foods high in protein.  Food collected is distributed to pantry locations in Macomb County to help your neighbors in need. Thank you!

Organization and Purpose

The Macomb Food Program is a community non-profit organization (501-c-3) that is administered by the Macomb County Community Services Agency. The food program was started in 1975 in response to the increase of hunger among families and individuals in Macomb County affected by the economic recession.

The Impact of a Donation

A normal meal consists of approximately one pound of food per person. A $10 donation will provide almost 24 days of food (at three meals per day) for an individual.
