So some of you may have seen this piece of equipment in your gym, or even here at the clinic. This is called a foam roller. This is a great flexibility tool. And what we do is we use this to work out adhesions in your fascia. Fascia is this stuff that goes from the top of your head all the way to the bottom of your feet. And sometimes this fascia gets wrinkles or adhesions in it, and we need to break those up. And it’s even more beneficial to break those up before we do some stretching. So there’s a number of different areas in your body that tend to get adhesions, in that fascia. Another way of thinking about what fascia is, if you think about boneless, skinless chicken breast. And, it’s the stuff that’s kind of there that’s not really skin. It’s just kind of there as your cleaning it. That’s the equivalent of fascia. Okay. So we have that in our body. And sometimes it gets adhesions, and we got to break those up.
