Hello, my name is Lindsey, I am a Detroit Lions cheerleader and a licensed massage therapist.
I think it’s important for us to take care of ourselves and our bodies. And I would get massages all the time. So that interest me to learn about it more and study. I did a year program for it. When I graduated and got my license, I started right away at a chiropractic office. We got a lot of clients that come in. They also have chiropractic and physical therapy so it’s more of a health center base.
So I was adopted from South Korea when I was 2 months old, so I was born and raised here my whole life I have an older brother. He was also adopted from South Korea, just not blood related.I grew up in the Eastside Metro Detroit area. I’ve made a lot of friendships here, basically, my home here.
My favorite part about being a Detroit Lions cheerleader I think it’s sharing for the community and seeing the fans be so excited and especially when you see little kids get excited for you, it’s just to see them happy and put smiles on their faces and how supportive the fans can be for us.
My pro dance experience coming into a different environment, being NBA and NFL was a huge change but I am learning and growing a lot as a dancer and human. What it means to be part of a team that Different and diverse, I think it’s important to represent all American women and for the fans to see that as well.
