Joan Errington, LMT
You might say I received my “call” to become a licensed Massage Therapist back in 2008. I was laid off from a Medical Assistant position. No one was hiring at the time for Medical Assistant so I decided to go back to school. My decision for Massage Therapy was based on the fact that everyone enjoyed my impromptu shoulder massages. I went Baker College and completed their Massage therapy program in 2010. Shortly thereafter received my National Certification. In 2013 I received my State license for Michigan. As always my goal is to have you feel better leaving than when you arrived. I specialize in Lomi Lomi massage. It is said that the Hawaiian’s received Lomi Lomi from the Polynesian’s when they came to the islands. It was a tradition to choose one family member to do Lomi Lomi. It was their “medicine”. Lomi Lomi is mostly massage ,but prayer is added to it. Each and every stroke has a specific name and purpose. The massage has a flow to it much like a dance. This massage also includes areas like the abdomen and feet. It is a great way to get a taste of Hawaii. Aloha.

Hi! I’m Emily Williams, and I graduated from the Health Enrichment Center of Lapeer with 1000 hours of massage training in 1996. Our clinical hours focused on everything from energy work modalities to myofascial and deep tissue techniques. I’ve known most of my life that massage was my calling, and I’ve been a career therapist for 17 years. With over 10,000 hours of hands on experience, listening to my clients and asking detailed questions allows me the best chance to help them reach their desired outcome. I’ve worked with a wide range of clientele from children (including my own, of course!), pregnant mothers, the elderly as well as clients going through chemo and other cancer therapies. I blend across modalities to tailor each massage; using essential oils, reiki, deep tissue and even crystals to enhance basic massage techniques. I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel your best!
